PancreaticKallidinogenase (Kallikrein) is a proteolytic enzyme. Composed of 18 kinds ofamino acids and 4 kinds of sugar, Mr is 26800 daltons. It can liberate Kallidin fromKininogen . Kallidin then dilates vascular smooth muscle tissue andthus reduces blood pressure.

Application

--In clinical, used for treatment ofMicrocirculation disorders, such as gastrosia induced by diabetes, peripheralneuropathy, retinopathy, ocular fundus disease and ischemic cerebrovasculardisease, can also be used as adjuvant therapy of essential hypertension etc.
